Select the Type of Developer Edition
Select the Developer application you need based on the type of application that you want to build, whether a stand-alone app or add-on to an existing app that is on the marketplace. If you are creating a stand-alone app, select the type ‘Generic’; if you want to build an add-on to an existing app then select the developer edition for that existing app (for example, if you are creating an add-on to Help Desk, select the develop edition type ‘Help Desk’).
